INTRO TO SKATEBOARDING

Always dreamed of cruising around town like a true Baddie? Same! Skateboarding is a culture all on its own and we're here to help introduce you to the wonders of 4 wheels and good vibes. Complete beginners are encouraged!

Join Bad Academy in collaboration with Late Bloomers Skate Club and featuring Maddy Balt for Intro to Skateboarding taking place at Sunset Beach in so-called Vancouver, BC!

  • Date: Sunday, June 7th, 2026
  • Time: 1-4pm (Workshop 1-3pm, with free skate 3-5p)
  • Location: Sunset Beach (exact meeting spot will be shared once you register)
  • Secondary location will be disclosed if it rains

Women and GNC people who want to learn how to skateboard or need more instruction!

Do I need to have experience skateboarding?

No!

If I have experience, can I join?

Yes!

Will you provide gear?

We have limited boards available for people to borrow, so once you register, please email hello@thebadacademy.com to reserve a board. Otherwise, please borrow or purchase a board, and bring a helmet and pads if you have them.
