Finding time to start or finish a creative pursuit can be hard when life is full of competing commitments. Welcome to the Bad Artists Club, where we make art and find friends through our creative curiosity across the Lower Mainland. Each month we host meet-ups, workshops, and art-filled field trips plus roundups of arts and culture events happening around the city. No matter your experience, ability, or craft, we're here for it, on a mission to create accessible, consistent spaces for creativity!

We charge "pay what you can" for our meet-ups to keep our club running and for some art supplies. If you can't pay, all good! You are still part of the club :) Signing up ahead of time is preferred, but if you find youself feeling spontaneous, you can "pay" at the door!

How we define “women” is broad and open to change. We include cis-women and trans women, as well as gender-fluid and folks identifying on the femme-spectrum. A hetero cis-woman runs this organization and she fully recognizes she probably doesn’t know shit, but tries and hopes you appreciate that <3 Always learning, and always listening!
We are currently based out of so called Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Besides everything else happening at Bad Academy, our club is focused on establishing regular consistent meet-ups at the moment with workshops sprinkled throughout the year! Eventually we'd love to have showcases, exhibits, art markets, and festivals! We are slowly building our community and hope you can join us!
