About The Workshop

Gym to Crag

You're starting to get comfortable in the climbing gym which is a huge deal! You're familiar with the problems, falling off the wall (a little too familiar with this), and trying to push yourself to climb harder and better. But you're curious about getting outside. What do you need to do to prepare for hitting the crag? What kind of gear? How do you find routes? Whats the outdoor etiquette? What kind of training? It's super overwhelming!

We got you, boo.

In this 6 week women/GNC only workshop series we're going to guide you through an amazing training program to get you ready for Squamish and beyond!

Class will take place indoors and outdoors where we'll train together and go over key information for climbing outside. We are purposefully limiting the number of sign-ups in order to make sure everyone gets focused attention during this series. You'll head outside with our crew  to start crushing boulders together! Our instructors will prepare you for the forest, teaching fundamental skills as well as outdoor specific rules, etiquette, and gear knowledge.

Topics that will be taught during the 6 weeks:

  • Footwork (Basic AND Advanced)
  • Route Reading
  • Grip Types
  • Dynamic versus Static Movement
  • Training Tips
  • Outdoor Gear Basics (how to set up pads, tips and tricks to avoid injury)
  • Translating skills from Indoor to Outdoor (how to pack for a day out, outdoor etiquette, how to stay safe, etc)

Hope you can join us for this very special series! Sign up now!
