Bad Artists Club presents:

Little Stars

A Holiday Embroidery Workshop

December 6th, 2025 (Saturday) 11A - 1:30P

FUNK. Coffee Bar (1025 Dunsmuir St, Vancouver, BC V7X 1M5)

Time to deck the halls... with adorable handmade stars! Come join Bad Artists Club as we officially ring in the holiday season with a very special embroidery workshop. Hosted at our favorite cafe spot in downtown Vancouver, you'll learn the in's and out's (and in again... it is embroidery after all) of making your very own felt stars.

We'll take you through the steps of making stuffed felt ornaments and you can either turn it into bunting or hang it on a tree! Ornaments could be plain colours simply stuffed/stitched together, or embroidered on first (your crush's name? some cute snowflakes? the sky's the limit!) All materials provided (for 3 stars total).

Ready to be a star student? Sign up now (and invite a pal!) for the coziest and cutest time <3

About The Instructor(s)

Alex (she/her) is a passionate stitcher with a deep love for embroidery, which she has been practicing since 2015. She began her creative journey by crafting intricate pet portraits, but eventually her passion for such labour-intensive stitchwork fell to the wayside. In the past few years she has developed a passion for sustainability; this newfound passion for the environment naturally led her to the art of mending. Alex is excited by the unique blend of self-expression and sustainability that visible mending offers, and she’s eager to inspire you to not only extend the life of your clothes but to transform them into something even more meaningful and cherished!

Refund Policy: Tickets are transferable, but unfortunately not refundable at The Bad Academy. We're a crazy small organization and operate on razor-thin margins, and as much as we'd like to account for life getting in the way, we have been burned too many times by no-shows, and last-minute refund requests etc. If you'd like to transfer your ticket to a friend, please email us at hello@thebadacademy.com with the name and email of the person taking your place, and we'll make sure to make the appropriate changes!
