If you're anything like us, recent events in global politics have left us at a loss for words. Not only are we being bombarded with scary shocking news on a daily basis, but the very channels and platforms we use everyday are controlled by what can only be described as a gang of insecure rich bullies. We are witnessing a frightening time in history when some of the most vulnerable people in our communities are more terrified for their safety than ever.
We are scared. We are confused. We are overwhelmed. And we feel dangerously close to falling into despair and complacency. What are we supposed to do and what does this mean for our futures? What can we learn from moments in history like this? What are ways we can stay informed without burning out? What can we do for our communities while also taking care of ourselves?
Please join the Bad Academy and our panel of experts as we dive into digesting this very subject. It is and always has been apparent to us that coming together in community is the first step towards taking action and we invite you to come commiserate, grieve, learn, and hopefully get inspired for what is possible!
